Karri Ving

After Karri quit the Program Manager's job, I asked her if she would be interested in joining the board as a non-voting member (similar to what Robert did) at first, with the potential of joining as a full member if a spot opened up. I thought she would make a positive contribution, since former program directors tend to have a lot of good ideas.

My opinion... she did very little, neither as a non-voting and voting member. She was against purchasing the RIB, for example, but had no other suggestions. Perhaps she needed something on her resume?

She seemed to immediately align herself with Perez, and attempted to bully me into doing whatever he thought was right. At one point, I talked to her for over an hour to try and come to a resolution, with me making compromises and she not making one. It was a totally frustrating experience.

At one point, during a board meeting, while I tried to make an important point, she laughed out loud.

She was one of those who approached me before the last All Hands Meeting regarding installing Ken and refusing Joyce board membership.
