Ted Miller

I asked Ted to join the board. He was one of my students. He seemed fairly level-headed and I liked him personally, but as a board member, he seemed unable to understand fairly straightforward explanations. I was always puzzled by this.

As secretary, I was continually concerned that he didn't have a computer at home. How can the secretary of an organization not have a computer??

As a result, I ended up doing the Masthead for 2007 (yet another thing in addition to the regular duties and responsibilities of the president). Working on the newsletter was time-consuming and similar to pulling teeth on a rhinoceros. This became one of the initial hassle points with Perez.
