After Mike discovered there was a "problem" with the SEA website, he contacted me via telephone, and we discussed the situation. I suggested that he get in touch with the board members, and he offered the possibility of a formal and public apology to me from the Board. I told him that this was certainly a good idea, and that I was willing to ensure the website was working between then and an expected update from Mike.
After quite a while and after several attempts to get an update from him, I came to the sad realization that the Board would never apologize for the way I was treated, would never act like adults. This was no real surprise.
What was a surprise was Mike's inability to honor his commitment to give me the update. He just left me hanging, never responding to my repeated telephone calls.
