Sailing on the San Francisco Bay

General Information Safety @ Sea Fun Stuff Resources

We want to get you on the water if at all possible. SailNOW is accepting Semi-Private and Private Cruises and Lessons, but you must be fully vaccinated and wear masks in the marina and below decks, due to the continuing Covid-19 situation. Our primary goal is safety, and we're not willing to risk your or our health. We strictly enforce the wearing of masks and disinfect all surfaces prior to each cruise.

Join us for a day of sailing, blue skies (or fog), good company, and fun on the beautiful San Francisco Bay! We sail out of the North Bay on weekends, often enjoying a picnic lunch on Angel Island. Here's another view. The cost averages $50-$150 per person, depending on what you're looking for - cruising, lessons, an intimate sailing experience. Get more information today!

Are you ready for the next America's Cup? If not, it's time for a skills tune up! .

You can also join us for a relaxing, fun, and informative sailing adventure in the Sea of Cortez near La Paz in Baja, Mexico in January, or in other exotic locations. If you'd like more information, click here.

I am available to teach you on your own boat (cost is negotiable). I hold a US Coast Guard 100 GT Masters, Near Coastal to 100 nm license with a sailing endorsement, as well as an OUPV (Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessel), Near Coastal license (with a towing endorsement). I can teach up to six people at one time.

If you have more than six people interested in a charter or lessons, don't despair. I have plenty of contacts who can handle more than six people at a time. Just let me know!

Please email me if you have general questions.
